All Living things from mice to men, trees to seeds, are molded and controlled by electro-dynamic fields, which can be measured and mapped with standard voltmeters. Measurements of the lift field can reveal physical and mental conditions; doctors will be able to use them to diagnose illness before the usual symptoms develop, and so will have a better chance of successful treatment.

The energy field surrounds and permeates all living beings. It is the scaffolding for the structure of our physical body. Within the energy field of each person, are seven major centers, or rather concentrations of nerve bundles. Each of these centers energizes or vitalizes its relative nerve center, endocrine gland and internal organ system. It’s within this energy field that cause of disease seems to be located. Through training, a practitioner can learn to recognize areas that are weak or congested within the energy field, and by use of various balancing techniques, can bring the client’s energy field to a more healthy, flowing state.

The traditional name for this type of healing work is “esoteric” healing, meaning “hidden” or that which is not obvious until studied greater depth. The existence of this field has been known for thousands of years but modern western science has realized its significance only recently. This field of energy has been called many things; vital energy, bioplasmic body, bioenergy field, “L” (life) field, and etheric body.“

Up until now, we have looked upon the physical body as primary. Today, we have to change our concept and think of the energy field (or etheric body) as primary, and the dense body as secondary. They work together but I suspect that the energy field is the matrix and the physical body the end result. This is a turnabout in our thinking. This means that if we can pick up the problem in the energy field before a disease manifests in the physical body, we are into preventative medicine.” Dr. Shaficia Karagulla.

What is an Esoteric Healing Treatment?

I have been extensively trained at the institute for the Bio-Energy Studies in the philosophy and methods as taught through the International Network of Esoteric Healing. And have learned to sensitize my hands and inner perception to examine the energy field. I do not touch my clients, but rather works within the energy field variable distances away from the body.

Is The Client Required To Do Anything?

You are asked to sit comfortably, as a brief history is obtained prior to each treatment. You will then be asked to just relax. Working in the energy field often produces an effect of deep relaxation, so it isn’t difficult to be still for the 20-30 minutes required for treatment.

Some clients feel nothing, others feel light movements. Sometimes the effect of the treatment is felt immediately, but more frequently an effect is not observed until a little later. The time delay may be an hour or so, or even up to a couple days. Very occasionally, there is a temporary worsening of symptoms before relief is obtained.

Our energy fields are influenced by our mental and emotional states, and working in this field may produce an effect in these areas. I ask my clients to give some quiet time to consider the thoughts, memories, and feelings that may come to the surface in the days following treatment. This is an area of response to the healing in which you may deal with privately, but, if you wish to talk about your “inner response”, I encourage you to do so.

Some clients feel so “recharged” with energy following a treatment that they feel like being very active, but, I do ask that you spend the remainder of the day quietly resting and allow the energy to be absorbed and to heal.
